Ara acrylics has some mediums available to paint with. Mediums give a certain degree of gloss and color depth to acrylics. The use of a medium can dilute the acrylics or give it more volume.
Ara has different mediums:
- Acrylic medium glossy V400: this is the standard medium used and gives more shine and color depth to acrylics. It makes the stroke smoother and is suitable to glaze.
- Acrylic gelmedium glossy V380 and matt V390: suitable for impasto painting technique, buidling texture and retaining the ego of the brush stroke. Available in gloss (V380) and matte (V390).
- Acrylic binder: this can also be used as a medium.
Besides mediums Ara acrylics also has some other auxiliary products.
